Right now I am traveling in government bus (ordinary bus – 144 Rupees from Chennai to Madurai). I boarded bus around 8:30 pm near Gundy area. The bus looks like old one but the driver is overtaking most of the other vehicles including the private buses. When we reached Thindivanam bus conductor said ‘there will be a ten minutes refreshing time. Those who wants to have food could eat in this hotel’. Immediately a former said ‘you stoped the bus in front of a costliest hotel in Tamilnadu’. Every one in my bus laughed. Now I am continuing my journey in the same bus. The only difference is both the driver and the conductor got changed.
Even though the bus stopped at three places for refreshment, it was able to reach Madurai earlier. 🙂
