எனது அலுவலக நண்பனின் பிறந்த நாளுக்கு வாங்கிய கேக்கில் “தில்லு முள்ளு ” என ஆங்கிலத்தில் எழுதியதை நண்பன் ஒருவன் …. சிறிது சுரண்டி “தில்லு மல்லு” என மாற்றி விட்டான். அடிகடி நங்கள் அந்த நண்பனை .. தில்லு முள்ளு பார்ட்டி என அழைப்பது வழக்கம்.
அந்த கேக்கின் மீதே தில்லு முள்ளு ரஜினிகாந்த் மாதிரி ஒரு பக்க மீசயுடைய ஒரு கார்டூன் வரைந்து வைத்தேன்.

இன்று காலை தபால் தந்தி நகர் பேருந்தில் இரண்டு அமெரிக்கன் கல்லூரி மாணவர்களைச் சந்தித்தேன். ஒரு மாணவன் எனக்கு உதவ நினைத்து, ஒரு சுமையை தனது காலுக்கு கிழே இழுத்து வைத்தார்.
அங்கு வந்த நடுத்துனர், ஏன் சுமையை உனது மடியில் வைக்க வேண்டியதுதானே? ஏதாவது ஒரு உருப்படியான வேலை செய்யலாம் இல்லையா? என்று சொன்னார்.
