எனது மகன் அலன் முதலாம் வகுப்பு படித்து வருகிறான். எனக்கு டெல்லியில் இருந்து வேலை மாறுதலாகி சென்னை வந்தபோது, முதலில் நாங்கள் D.A.V. பள்ளியில் முயற்சி செய்தோம். பல பெற்றோர்கள் தங்கள் குழந்தைகளுடன் வந்திருந்தார்கள்.

வாழைப் பூ ….

வேலைகளில் சிகரமானது வாழைப் பூ ஆய்வது.
கடந்த மாதம், ஒரு ஞாயிற்றுகிழமை வாழைப் பூ உரித்துக் கொண்டிஇருந்தேன். கடைசி ஒன்றிரண்டு பூக்கள் மட்டும் மிச்சம் இருருக்கும் போது, எனது மனைவி வந்து சொன்னாள், இது என்ன? எது நல்ல பகுதியோ அதை குப்பையிலே போட்டுவிட்டு, எது கிழே போகவேண்டிய பகுதியோ அதை தட்டிலே வைத்து உள்ளீர்கள். அன்றுதான் வாலைப் பூவை எப்படி உரிப்பது என கற்றுக்கொண்டேன்.
